Verb [Proto-Naish]

Etymology: Uncertain. Li's original comparison to Tibetan རྔོད (rngod) was retracted in Li (2022) in favour of different Naish comparanda for it, and STEDT's comparison to Burmese လှော် (hlau, “to roast”) and its other Lolo-Burmese cognates cannot explain why the vowel is nasalized in Na and Laze. Etymology templates: {{noncog|bo|རྔོད}} Tibetan རྔོད (rngod), {{cog|my|လှော်|t=to roast}} Burmese လှော် (hlau, “to roast”) Head templates: {{head|sit-nas-pro|verb}} *Snju
